FUN-875 Radio Controlled Car Kit!

Be the master on the track with your Turbo King car! Not only will you have fun playing with this racer once you build it, but you will expand your understanding of basic electronic switching theories, receivers and transmitters. As you build your car from the ground up, feel the excitement of anticipation... -v-vooom.. to get outside and race. Now you are a proud race car driver!

You'll learn about integrated circuits, motors, gears and printed circuit boards from the detailed assembly and training manual. You will construct each section, explore the circuitry and troubleshoot when necessary.

• Race two different shaped cars. What is the effect of the car design on the amount of drag created? You can easily do this by finding a friend or a couple of friends who have different shaped remote control cars.
• Which material blocks the radio waves? Use glass, wood (a door) or brick / cement (building) to block the transmission from the remote control by placing the car outside and you inside. Use a stop watch to determine how long it takes for the car to start or stop. Have a friend help you.
• Design your own circuitry. Which one is faster, yours or the manufacturers?
