HOW RESILIENCE BUILDS CONFIDENCE
What is resilience? It is the ability to pick yourself up, brush yourself off, learn from your failure, apply what you learned to the next challenge that your face. It is perseverance!
Failure builds character.
Research has shown that when you possess resiliency you have the following characters:
Easy going disposition
Faith
High self-worth
Intelligence
Talent
David Niven, PhD researched resilient people and report in his book, The 100 Simple Secrets of Successful People, that they have do certain things that cause them to be successful...
They spend twice as much time thinking and visualizing their past successful experiences and their ability to accomplish new tasks than those that do not experience as much success.
People who do not rebound from a non-successful experience (possess resiliency) think about and visualize their failures rather than successes.
In 1998 Robeson found that people who return to college after not succeeding the first time because they believe more in themselves the 2nd time and have more confidence that they will succeed.

Mice and rodents science fair projects seems to be a natural since these animals are usually used in experiments, but schools do allow students to use animals for experimentation.
